Foundation For Marine Corps Scholarship
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation aims to provide a higher education for United States Marines and their dependents. Established in 1990, the foundation has a mission of “providing scholarships to qualified children of current and former Marines, Navy sailors, and Department of Defense employees.” To date over $2.4 million in scholarships have been awarded.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Eligibility
Students from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels are eligible for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. Applicants must be a United States citizen or a legal permanent resident, be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning, have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, and submit two letters of recommendation. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation pays full tuition, provides books and supplies, furnishes an annual stipend for living expenses, and offers an intensive leadership development program to scholars.

Marines’ Memorial Family Scholarship program
The Marines’ Memorial Family Scholarship is a scholarship fund that provides financial assistance to children and grandchildren of Marines and Navy corpsmen. This non-profit organization was founded by five Marines in 1999, their prime motivation being the need for financial assistance for their own children and grandchildren. It began as a small organization with just $500,000 and has rapidly grown into an enormous foundation with over $10 million annually awarded to families from all over the country.
Marines’ Memorial Tribute Scholarship program
The Marines’ Memorial Tribute Scholarship is a generous scholarship for student veterans of the United States Marine Corps. This program is funded by the non-profit, Students for America, and hopes to help more veterans continue their education after serving in the military. The scholarship offers up to $2,500 per term to students studying at any accredited college or university.
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF) is a nonprofit organization, which began in 1955 when a group of Marines began to share their scholarship money with Marines in need. MCSF’s purpose is to provide scholarships for children and spouses of military service members or veterans that have been wounded in combat or killed in action in the line of duty, who are in financial need and pursuing a degree from an accredited institution.
Marine Corps Tankers Association Scholarship
The Marine Corps Tankers Association Scholarship Program is an organization that was created in 1969 for former Marines who served in the M-41 tank unit. There are currently over 3,000 members of this organization. The scholarship program was created to ensure successful educational pursuits for these individuals who have “served their country with honor and distinction.” The scholarship program awards $1,500 per year for four years to one undergraduate or graduate student in need of financial assistance.
Marine Corps League National Scholarships Program
The Marine Corps League currently offers ten $5,000 scholarships to individuals pursuing a degree in business or an associated field. The General Arnold B. Pollock Business and Professional Scholarship is awarded annually to a high school senior and undergraduate student and was established by and named after the Marine Corps League’s National President from 1972-1974. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of scholastic ability, academic achievement, community service, leadership potential and financial need.
National Military Family Association
The National Military Family Association (NMFA) is a nonprofit organization that provides support and resources to the families of military servicemen and women. The NMFA serves as an advocate for military families, providing leadership on national issues such as healthcare, housing, education and employment. The NMFA also offers members services such as career counseling, family counseling and deployment assistance programs.

The American Patriot Freedom Scholarship program
The American Patriot Freedom Scholarship is an opportunity for our nation’s Armed Forces, Veterans, and their families to pursue higher education. It offers them the chance for a degree that will help them lead productive lives after they’ve completed their service to our country. This Scholarship was created in 2009 by The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis for this purpose. Since the program started, more than 2,000 veterans have received it to attend college or trade schools.
ASF Scholarships program
The ASF Scholarship is a scholarship program designed to help those who are pursuing careers in the fields of entertainment, sports and fashion. It is funded by the Arthur Smith Foundation and is open to those who plan on attending or are currently attending an accredited college or university in the United States. There are many benefits of the Arthur Smith Foundation Scholarship including a scholarship package which includes a $10,000 award for undergraduate students and a $5,000 award for graduate level students.
MCSF Scholarships Program
Many times scholarships are given out by universities to students who have a certain GPA or who excel in a particular area. One scholarship that is awarded by the Metropolitan Corporate Scholars Fund is the “Man of Achievement” scholarship. For this award, an applicant must be a student with a 3.0 GPA and have attended one of the following schools: James B. Dudley Memorial School, JEB Stuart Elementary School, or Thomas Jefferson High School.
The Folds of Honor Higher Education Scholarship Program
The Folds of Honor Higher Education Scholarship is a program providing financial assistance to the spouses and children of U.S. military officers killed in the line of duty. Every year, this scholarship awards $5,000 to one student who has enrolled or will enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, or trade school in pursuit of undergraduate degree. Hope For The Warriors Scholarships Program
Hope for the Warriors Scholarships provides a full scholarship of up to $7,500 that will be applied to a four- year degree program. The scholarship is only offered to members of the military and veterans who are pursuing undergraduate education. This scholarship has been established by Hope for the Warriors in order to give back to those who have served our nation in the armed forces.
The AMVETS National Scholarship Program
The American Legion, Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and AMVETS organizations are committed to helping their sons and daughters pursue higher education. The AMVETS National Scholarship provides $5,000 per year for four years to one eligible undergraduate student who is at least 18 years old or enrolled in their first year of college. Winners of the scholarship will be announced on March 11th at the national convention in Indianapolis.
NLF Scholarships Program
The National Foundation for Lowe’s Scholarships is a nonprofit organization that provides academic scholarships to college students with limited financial resources. They offer six different scholarships for multiple fields of study, however they are most well known for their Entrepreneurship Scholarship. The Entrepreneurship Scholarship is open to high school seniors who have an entrepreneurial mindset and are pursuing a business or general studies degree at an accredited institution in the United States.
